Featured Dive – Cozumel, Punta Tunich & Paraiso Reef
We’re proud to present a new feature on our blog, showcasing the best dive sites in the world!
Every week or so we will feature selected photos from a dive site around the world, so you can share your dives with our community and choose where to go for your next dive trip!
If you would like to showcase your favorite dive site, send an email to ran@housingcamera.com with 10-15 photos from the dive and a short description. We’ll take it from there…
Our first feature is one of the most popular diving locations in the world – the wonderful island of Cozumel, situated in Quintana Roo, Mexico.
These photos were taken at two dive sites on the island – Punta Tunich, a fantastic drift dive 40-60ft deep with plenty of marine life on the way, and Paraiso Reef, a more relaxed shallow dive with sandy patches and a colorful array of corals all along the dive.
The gear used was a Canon SL1/100D with a Tokina 10-17 lens in an Ikelite housing + Sea & Sea YS-D1 and Inon S2000 strobes.
Huge thanks to the good folks at Blue Magic Scuba for hosting us and for being very professional and helpful!
